During this 3 month coaching program you be shown how to:

• A one on one 90 minute mentoring session with an Equinox Life Coaching Advanced Coach and have the option of a mentoring coach program as well
• Weekly coaching from your peers participating in the program and the experience to coach your peers

You will be required to:

• Pro-bono coach – coach 3 people during the 3 months and submit 3 testimonials of your coaching
• Read and review a recommended coaching book, report the highlights over a teleconference
• Submit a 1000 word written report on a coaching topic allocated
• Coach during a live teleconference and complete self evaluation forms
• Coach Melissa Scott or a Equinox Life Coaching Coach for one hour session at the conclusion of the training as an exit interview strategy

About the course:

This course is designed to complement the NLP Practitioner Certification Training and many Equinox Coaches do the Life coaching Certification and then proceed onto the NLP Practitioner, Master Practitioner and Trainers Training levels of advanced coaching. This course will equip you with the skills and tools to begin building your successful coaching practice in an accelerated time frame.

Obtaining your life Coaching completion certificate and participating in this course will require a minimum of three hours per week.

For the certification of Wholistic Life Coaching  you are being certified thru my company Equinox Life Coaching - A reputable Training Company whose director, Melissa Scott was one of Australia's first Life Coach Trainers and has trained 100s of coaches from Australia, New Zealand and Around the world. 

The coach training has been devised based on meeting international standards for Life Coaching and meets current Australian Government Certification Standards for privately owned companies. It does not provide a cert IV in coaching as there is no legislative requirement for such - however upon certification thru equinox you are eligible to become a member of The International Coach Federation - the world's leading Life Coaching Professional Association and we are currently applying to become recognised for their Accredited Coach School training hours and Accredited Coach Training Program. Please note however that if you are desiring this option it does require you to attend a face to face training in Melbourne Australia that is held in August 2010 - it is a 2 day live event that requires you to complete a theoretical and practical exam. Please note this is not mandatory however and is only for those wanting the ICF recognition.

You are also eligible to freely become an associate member of Equinox Life Coaching which entitles you to use the Equinox Life Coaching Certified Logo on your business cards, and purchase selected Equinox Life Coaching Products at wholesale prices and sell these products to your own personal clients. This gives you the ability to sell our products and make a profit whilst you are in the process of creating your own.

Frequently Asked Questions

After completing this 6 month course will I be able to start my own coaching business?

Absolutely many coaches start as soon as they have completed the certification process and successfully commence a thriving coaching practice based on their chosen niche. However please note that Equinox does not promise that after completing this one course you will be transformed and easily create a flourishing practice.  Common sense is important and continued study as well as you own ongoing commitment to transformation. This course is a perfect blend of coaching competencies and metaphysical empowerment that with discipline, commitment and personal gumption can have you running your own successful coaching practice.

Why then do you offer so many other levels of coaching training that follow on from this course?

I like to explain it this way - if you were to purchase a reputable mowing franchise it would probably (guesstimate) cost somewhere in the region of $40,000 and likewise to really be successful and up to date and become a master of coaching it is a process and an ongoing one that requires personal and professional rigour. After 10 years of coaching and training coaches I am still learning and still investing in programs to make sure that my clients and students received the best possible coaching information and application.

All our calls are recorded and made available in a email format for you so that you can continue to succeed in the program even if you can’t join the live calls.

What if I have other things scheduled during this time?

Most people have busy lives - however I know that by committing to learning life coaching I went from working a 60 week to about a 4 hour week most weeks!  So by completing this course it is likely you will create more time for yourself, and also after the course finishes you have an entire 12 month period to apply for certification and submit all your modules.

What if I have already completed the Life Coaching Mentoring program am I eligible to join this updated and reformatted version?
